Who we are

Dance at the centre.
People in the room.

M.VMNT360 is an adult movement company + community rooted in Hip Hop + House.

Around that centre: groove, freestyle, musicality, body awareness, curiosity and shared practice. No fixed form. We’re interested in what happens between instruction and instinct, the music and your choice, one person and the whole room.

Discover the space between

Why this exists

Life changes. Movement can change with it.

Plenty of adults remember the rooms where dance felt ordinary: parties, kitchens, clubs, cyphers, somebody’s bedroom with the music up.

Then bodies and lives moved on. Time got tight. Confidence changed. The distance between wanting to dance and actually walking into a room got wider.

We are making room for a living relationship with movement now. Not a performance of who you were. Not a test. Something present, musical and yours.

The founders

Different strengths. Same room.

Same centre too — dance, people, culture, music and connection.

Co-Founder & Creative Director

Edy Samuels
/ M.ÜUYA

Edy hears the detail. Where the beat sits. What your weight is doing. The moment a foundation stops being a shape and starts to groove.

He leads M.VMNT360’s Hip Hop + House foundations, movement direction, musicality, freestyle, cypher practice and technical teaching. The work is precise, but never stiff. There is usually humour in the room — sometimes because the body has other plans.

He helps people build foundations strong enough to hold confidence, individuality and freedom.

Co-Founder & Executive Director

Abigail Elliott
/ Phoenixx Blazze

Abigail notices the whole journey: what someone needs before they arrive, what the room communicates without saying, and whether people feel able to enter the work as themselves.

She leads creative operations, facilitation, access, participant experience, room culture, context and storytelling, community-facing design, embodied inquiry, and partner + funder strategy.

Warmth matters. So do the details, the difficult questions and the follow-through. She shapes spaces where confidence, expression, body awareness and curiosity have somewhere real to grow.

Culture + lineage

The movement has a history.

Hip Hop + House are cultures: music, lineage, cypher and community practice. They were built by people in particular places, not assembled as an aesthetic.

We teach with respect for those foundations, keep learning, name context where we can, and make space for new choices without pretending the road began with us.
